Egyptian Olympic team were drawn to play a tough game against Ivory Coast in the second round of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games qualifiers. The first-leg will be played on the seventh of February in Egypt while the return-leg will take place either on the 22nd, 23rd or the 24th of March 2007 in Ivory Coast. The draw was due to take place in December but it was surprisingly held two months earlier. Egypt football director Salah Hosni said the sudden draw forced the team to change their preparations. "We were due to play friendlies against Lebanon and Kuwait in November but now we will have to find other African countries to face instead," Hosni told FilGoal.com on Saturday. Hosni admitted that qualifying to the group stage at the expense of Ivory Coast is not easy, but believes Egypt have to overcome any team if they are to reach the Beijing Olympic Games.
