"I would like to assure the fans that we will be competing on the league's title this season following the arrival of the new signings as well as the return of keeper Mohamed Abdul-Monsef and defender Ibrahim Said," Zaki said. "I'm not worried by the team's defeat to Mahalla. Defending champions Ahli have also lost points after their goalless draw with Arab Contractors and Ismaili will surely fall during the campaign." The 23-year-old said that Zamalek's players are all satisfied with the appointment of the club's interim president Mamdouh Abbas. "The players are confident that Abbas will give them their financial rights."
