Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole will be out for three weeks after sustaining an injury in his side's 1-0 friendly defeat to the MLS-All stars. The England international suffered suspected knee ligament damage in the second half of the friendly game, but scans showed the injury was not as serious as initially feared, English newspaper Telegraph reported on Tuesday. Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho will be relieved that the influential midfielder's will return. "It's a problem because he is a big player for us. You could see his quality as a player. He is a player that I need but don't have," he said recently. "That's a real problem. If you tell me there is no problem with Joe Cole and we lose 10-0 then that is better," the Portuguese manager added. Cole will miss Chelsea's community shield game against Liverpool on Sunday as well as two Premiership matches against Manchester City and Middlesbrough.
