Arsenal forward Jose Antonio Reyes reiterated his desire to join Spanish giants Real Madrid, sports daily Marca reported on Friday. The Spanish international doesn't want to play with Arsenal in their UEFA Champions League qualifying clash against Dinamo Zagreb because it could hamper his chances of joining Real. "The manager (Arsene Wenger) hasn't said anything to me and I don't know if I am going to play or not. I hope I don't or that everything will be resolved before then," Reyes said. "Obviously, if I do, it will make a move to Real a lot more difficult. But if I have to play, I will play." If Reyes played for Arsenal in their UCL tie, he would be ineligible for Real next season in the European competition in case he completes move to the Santiago Bernabeu. The Spanish media recently quoted the 22-year-old as saying he wants to depart Arsenal, before the player himself denied the comments in Gunners' official website. The former Sevilla player said he wants to return to Spain because he faces adaptation problems in England. "I know the people (at Arsenal) want me and the fans are with me but I haven't adapted to the life there," he said. "I miss Spain and I have a unique opportunity to return with what Real are offering. Everyone has to understand I can't let this chance slip away. Real Madrid are unique. "I don't know what is happening but I am a little unsettled by all the rumours."
