Ahli international defender Mohamed Abdul-Wahab was excluded from the team traveling to the France training camp as part of the club's preparations for the new season. Youngsters Amr Al-Halawani, Mohamed Abdul-Fattah 'Eto'o' and Abdul-Ellah Galal will not be making the trip to France alongside Abdul-Wahab for various reasons. Abdul-Wahab has been on loan at Ahli since 2004 and the player has impressed as he helped the club win five trophies last season as well as playing a major role with the Egyptian national team that won the African Cup of Nations last February. But despite the player's desire to secure a permanent deal with Ahli, the club is yet to reach an agreement with Abdul-Wahab's original club Al-Zafra of the UAE to land the 23-year-old full back. "I will not be traveling with the team to France to avoid further problems with Al-Zafra," Abdul-Wahab told FilGoal.com on Sunday. Meanwhile, 20-year-old Galal expressed his sadness not to be with the team in France.
