Enppi club administration accepted the Egyptian Football Association's (EFA) nomination to replace Zamalek in the Super Cup against Ahli. "We accepted the nomination as not to let down the EFA even though it's not in our interest," Enppi company president Fakhri Eid told FilGoal.com on Sunday. The EFA had decided to ban league runners-up Zamalek from participating in the match after the team players' refused to receive their silver medals after the 3-0 defeat to Ahli in the Egyptian Cup final. Enppi were promoted for the upper Cup as third place winners in the local league to face Ahli who won both the cup and league titles. On the other hand, Eid said that Enppi sent an official fax to Ismaili club to acquire the services of Ahmed Al-Gammal and agreed to reduce the asking price for winger Osama Hassan who caught the eye of Zamalek's officials.
