Zinedine Zidane scored in his last game at the Santiago Bernabeu as Real Madrid were held to a 3-3 draw with Villarreal in the Primera Liga on Sunday. The French playmaker, who will hang his boots after the World Cup in Germany this summer, received a standing ovation by before the starting whistle. Julio Baptista opened the score for Real Madrid in the 22nd minute before Alvaro Mejia's own goal gave Villarreal the equalizer. Uruguay striker Diego Forlan put Villarreal ahead five minutes before the break but Zidane, who is set to retire after the World Cup finals in Germany, leveled the score in the 67th minute. Forlan scored the third for the Yellow Submarines from the penalty spot five minutes before the end but his goal was denied by Baptista who snatched the equalized two minutes later. Real Madrid are in second place of the league table with 70 points while Villarreal lie eighth on 54 points. Elsewhere, Osasuna's UEFA Champions League hopes suffered a blow after a 2-1 defeat to Racing Santander. Savo Milosevic put Osasuna in front in the 55th minute but two late goals by Pablo Alfaro and Antonito secured the win for Santander. Osasuna lie fourth in the league table with 65 points, three ahead of Sevilla, who have a game in hand. In other matches, Getafe beat Cadiz 3-1; Real Betis edged Mallorca 2-1, Real Sociedad tied Celta Vigo 2-2 and Real Zaragoza thrashed Alaves 3-0.
