Inter Milan owner Massimo Moratti said on Thursday that coach Roberto Mancini will remain at the helm next season contradicting what the Italian boss has announced earlier this season. "He (Mancini) needs to do well in these final games of the season and then he should stay with us," Moratti was quoted as saying by Football Italia magazine. Mancini made shockwaves in the Italian football last month when he announced that this season will be his last in Italy following his players were attacked by angry fans because the UEFA Champions League exit against Villarreal. He also was under fire recently after Inter's title bid came to an early end, leaving the competition for city rivals Milan and holders Juventus. Problems with Brazilian striker Adriano, who found the net just three times in 2006, prompted suggestions that the former Lazio coach could be heading out of the Giuseppe Meazza. Mancini still has a chance to save the season and retain the Italian Cup title when Inter play AS Roma in the finals in May.
