Arsenal striker Jose Antonio Reyes has been ruled out of his side's game against Liverpool on Tuesday through injury, the Premiership club said. Reyes was forced to leave the pitch during Arsenal's 1-1 draw against Bolton in the weekend with an ankle injury. "The 22-year-old misses the trip to Liverpool on Tuesday," read a statement on the club's official website. "It is not yet known if he'll be fit for the Champions League Knockout Round first leg at Real Madrid a week later." But Reyes said earlier that he will do his best to make a return to his homeland next week to take on Real Madrid. "I wouldn't miss that game for anything in the world," he told The Sun earlier on Monday. "It's going to be treated as a bad knock and I will do everything possible to be ready for the game against Real Madrid." Arsenal will play Real Madrid in the first knock-out stage on February 21st. It will be the first match ever between the two European giants in the Champions League.
