Arsenal failed to defend their title as last season's England FA Cup champions after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Bolton on Sunday and exiting the competition round-four. Stelios Giannakopoulos grabbed the winner for Bolton after heading in Ricardo Gardner cross late in the 84th minute. Arsenal, who also exited the Carling Cup semi-finals on Tuesday, fielded a fragile line-up that witnessed the absence of Thierry Henry, Jens Lehmann, Lauren, Robert Pires, Gliberto and Francesc Fabregas. The Gunners, who squandered many chances to score in the match, lost all hope to add any trophies to their silverware collection, especially given that they don't stand a chance in front of other European giants in the UEFA Champions League or in the Premiership after coming in at fifth place. "I feel we should have won this game by three goals difference. Bolton didn't create anything the whole game and won with one chance and one goal. Practically, we have lost two trophies this week in the last minute,” Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was quoted as saying by BBC Sport on Sunday. "I feel a lot of disappointment but there were a lot of positives to come from the game," he added.
