Bolton come at seventh place in the premiership standings with a tally of 36 points, five points ahead of ninth place Man City. Elsewhere, Birmingham thumped Portsmouth 5-0, Widan defeated Middlesbrough 3-2 and Tottenham Hotspur were held by Aston Villa to a goalless draw.
