Italian club AS Roma sporting director Daniele Prade insisted that midfielder Amantino Mancini was not for sale and the was an integral part of their future plan. "Our jewels are not to be touched. Mancini and the rest are all part of our project for the future," Italian daily Football Italia quoted Prade as saying on Monday. Mancini excelled after recovering from injury and scored four goals in three matches, which fuelled speculation that rivals Juventus would make a move for the South American. However, Roma Coach Luciano Spalletti was not willing to see another one of their key players leave the team after losing Antonio Cassano to Spanish outfit Real Madrid. "First Cassano and now Mancini. It would appear that everyone is leaving, but that simply isn't the case and all the talk is unsettling for a young player like him,” Spalletti said. "Mancini played very well in the left forward position. But the match was won by the team, which is showing a lot of character at the moment," he added. On the other hand, the talented Brazilian, whose contract ends in 2009, insisted that he wouldn't allow any transfer talks affect him and said that it was only normal for club to keep an eye out for rising stars "I cannot leave. It's normal that when a footballer is playing well clubs will be interested. But I'm ignoring everything that's going on off the pitch – I'm just thinking about playing. "Certainly, if Roma were made a big offer, we could talk about it," he added.
