Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson conceded that there is no matching runaway Premier League leaders Chelsea. Chelsea are sitting 13 points clear at the top of the Premiership table after second-placed United were held to a goalless draw by Arsenal on Tuesday. "Chelsea have been fantastically consistent and there is no-one anywhere that can match them at this point,” told Sky Sports News after the game. The Scotsman acknowledged the supremacy of the Blues but noted their game lacked any flare.
Chelsea seem unbeatable "I don't think the quality of the game has been raised in any way (by Chelsea), but they have retained that great consistency and are happy to grind out 1-0 wins," Ferguson said. The United boss attributed Chelsea's progress, compared to that of his team, to their experienced players. "Chelsea's a mature team, their players are between 25 and 30. It's a team with power and is in full belief. "Eventually we hope to reach Chelsea's level. We have a young team who will get better," he added.
