Nigerian striker Obafemi Martins signed an extension deal with Inter Milan that will see him stay until 2010, the Italian giants announced on their official website on Sunday. “FC Internazionale has reached an agreement with Obafemi Martins to extend the Nigerian striker's contract with the club until 30 June 2010,” the announcement stated. The talented ace, whose contract originally expired at the end of this season and was approached quickly by the club board to agree a new extension deal, will reportedly cash in $3-million as an annual salary. Martins made his move to Inter's youth ranks from Regina for $900,000 in 2001.
