Zamalek waved goodbye to the CAF Champions League after losing 1-0 at home to DR Congo's Vita Club. Forward Yunus Sentamu scored the only goal on 55 minutes to send five-time champions Zamalek out of the group stage for the third time in a row. The game marked the returning debut of manager Hossam Hassan on Zamalek's bench, following the sacking of Mido. Vita Club join local rivals Mazembe to the competition's semi-final after the latter beat Hilal of Sudan 3-0. Zamalek and Hilal share bottom spot with four points before meeting in a game to spare this month. VIDEO
