Ahmed Hassan 'Koka' got his name on the scoresheet for the second time this season, ending a lengthy goal-drought in Rio Ave's 4-2 Portuguese Cup win over lower-division Sertanense. Koka, who last found the net in the league win over Nacional back in August, scored Rio Ave's third of the night following goals from Tarantini and Braga as Yonathan Del Valle added the fourth. Despite his goal, the 20-year-old Koka was not recalled by Egypt for the World Cup qualifying playoff return leg against Ghana on November 19. Rio Ave, who qualified for the cup last-16 with the win, take on Estoril in the league in a fortnight.
