Want-out star Mohamed Ibrahim will have his contract improved by Zamalek, according to board member Ibrahim Youssef. Ibrahim, 21, announced a day ago that he had made a final decision to leave the club at the end of the season after the Whites had turned down several overseas offers for their star forward. "We have decided today to improve Ibrahim's contract as he will now receive EGP 1.6 million plus extending his deal to further three years," board member Youssef told FilGoal.com. "He is an indispensable member of the team's squad." Romania's Vaslui and Swiss side Sion were believed to be among his suitors as the former offered to loan Ibrahim, who still has two years remaining on his contract, for a fee of $1,250,000. Zamalek's reluctance to sell Ibrahim in addition to his late dues were the reason behind his decision to part ways with his boyhood club, who were quick to appease the Egypt international by offering an improved deal. Ibrahim has been arguably Zamalek's top player this season, having scored four league goals and set up as many.
