ON THIS DAY: Ahli's dramatic comeback

On May 20 2009, Ahli's Ahmed Fathi scored an injury-time winner against Gaish to force a playoff with league rivals Ismaili.
In a must-win game for Ahli, Manuel Jose's men found themselves one-nil behind with less than 25 minutes remaining, and an equalizer from Mohamed Abou-Treika was still not enough.
After Ismaili thrashed Tersana 3-0, the Dervishes thought they are champions as Ahli were still held 1-1 by Gaish with only two minutes remaining.
Ironically, a priceless strike came from former Ismaili star Fathi, who showed magnificent composure to deceive a defender before smashing past the keeper before Mohamed Talaat made it 3-1.
