President Michel Suleiman discussed bilateral ties with visiting Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif at Baabda palace on Friday. The two men also discussed latest local and regional developments. Nazif, also, handed over to Suleiman a letter from his Egyptian counterpart Hosni Mubarak. On Thursday, Lebanon and Egypt signed eighteen cooperation agreements shortly after Nazif's arrival in Beirut on a two-day official visit. The agreements were signed after closed-door talks between Prime Minister Saad Hariri and Nazif at the Grand Serail which tackled ways to consolidate bilateral cooperation, especially in the economic and trade fields.
