An Egyptian security delegation arrived in Gaza on Saturday to prepare for the visit of the Arab League (AL) Secretary General, Amr Moussa, on Sunday, a security official in the deposed Hamas government said. The official, who spoke to Xinhua on condition of anonymity, said the delegation crossed into Gaza through the Rafah crossing between Egypt and the Strip to "check the security situation" ahead of Mussa's visit. "The delegates checked the security details in the Rafah terminal and the roads Mussa's convoy will use," said. Last Thursday, Mussa's assistant, Hisham Yousef, visited the Hamas-controlled territory to arrange for the first visit of the AL's chief. Yousef, who met with officials from Hamas movement and other factions during his three-hour visit, said that Moussa will give the issue of national reconciliation the top priority. Moussa decided to visit the Strip after Israeli forces killed nine peace activists onboard a Gaza-bound aid flotilla last month.
