The body of an Egyptian oil engineer working with an international company in Nigeria who was killed in an ambush Friday will arrive late on Saturday, the Foreign Ministry said Saturday, describing the attack as an unjustifiable. The Ministry said that the incident occurred when a convoy carrying the engineer, workers and military personnel came under fire by unidentified gunmen in Nigeria's southern oil region, known as the Niger Delta. It named the victim as Sami Barakat Mahmoud, who had been killed by a stray bullet during a clash between unidentified gunmen and the Nigerian military forces, the official Middle East News Agency (MENA) said. Three other Nigerians were badly wounded in the ambush, the Ministry said.
