Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul Gheit headed to Serbia Sunday as part of a European tour, which includes Montenegro, Bosnia, Herzegovina and Macedonia. "Abul Gheit is due to meet with Serb President Boris Tadic, Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic and Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic to discuss regional and international issues of common interest," Foreign Ministry spokesman Hossam Zaki said Sunday. Zaki said that Abul Gheit was also scheduled to head to Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro where he would meet with President-elect Felipe Jovanovic, Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic and Foreign Minister Milan Rocen. The visit is the first of its kind by an Egyptian foreign minister since the independence of Montenegro in 2006, according to Zaki. "Abul Gheit is due in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo and Macedonia Tuesday and on Wednesday," said the spokesman.
