CAIRO - Tens of public-sector schoolteachers protested outside the Cabinet Building in downtown Cairo Saturday morning against what they called the reluctance of the Education Ministry to solve their financial problems and the administrative problems of the Ministry. The teachers chanted slogans against Education Minister Ahmed Gamal Moussa and called for his ousting and that of his ministerial advisers, accusing them of taking huge amounts of money that was meant to be given to them as part of their salaries. The teachers have vowed to stage similar protests outside the Cabinet Building every Saturday until the Ministry increases their salaries.
