CAIRO - Egypt's Zamalek and Haras el-Hodoud have finished their preparations for their Egypt Cup quarter-final games Sunday against Gouna and el-Nasr respectively. Zamalek's new coach Hassan Shehata has named his 20-man squad for Sunday's game, warning his players to beware of surprises and urging them to do their best. The White Knights overwhelmed Wadi Degla 4-1 in their Egypt Cup round of 16 tie, thanks to goals from Egypt's skipper Ahmed Hassan and striker Ahmed Gaafar, who scored a brace each. The coaching staff and fans are desperate to beat Gouna and progress to the semi-final. Zamalek chances of lifting the trophy after a three-year title drought have been boosted since Al-Ahly were knocked out by Enppi in the round of 16 last week. Meanwhile, the Egyptian Football Association has announced that the Egypt Cup final will be held at 7pm on October 11 at Cairo International Stadium. As for Haras el-Hodoud, they've finished their preparations for meeting el-Nasr in the same round. "Of course we want to win the title again," said Mahmoud Attalah, the general coach of Haras el-Hodoud. Haras el-Hodoud won the Cup last year; if they win this year, it will be their third title.
