CAIRO – The fifth session of the trial of Egypt's ousted president Hosni Mubarak, his two sons – Gamal and Alaa – former interior minister Habib el-Adli and six of his deputies finished on Thursday, the official Middle East News Agency reports. In Thursday' session, the court heard the testimonies of the eighth and ninth witnesses in the case. Mubarak and his two sons, along with el-Adli, are facing charges of giving orders to kill protesters in Tahrir Square during the January 25 revolt that toppled Mubarak. In next week's sessions, the court will hear more witnesses – senior military officials in the ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces.
