CAIRO - The Revolution's Youth Union called off a demonstration in Tahrir Square, which had been planned to unite all Egyptians. "The demonstration has been cancelled, but political groups and parties are still working to stop the military tribunals," said Amr Hamed, a spokesman for the coalition. A number of other movements, including April 6 Movement, Revolution Youth Coalition, the Free Front for Civil Change and the Maspero Youth Union, said they have not called for nor will take part in the demonstration or any other in the meantime. Due to criticism levelled at last Friday's demonstration in Tahrir Square, Sufi groups probably won't participate in any protests during the holy fasting month.
