CAIRO - At the North Cairo Criminal Court, the trial of former Interior Minister Habib el-Adli and six security chiefs resumes Sunday. They are charged with involvement in the killing of protesters during the popular revolt that toppled the Mubarak regime earlier this year. The court set a period from August 6 to 11 for lawyers to examine the exhibits relating to the murder charges at the High Court. Former president Hosni Mubarak and his two sons are being tried in the same charges. Their trial started on August 3 and resumes tomorrow. About 850 people were killed and 6,000 injured in the violence against protesters who took part in the January-February revolt.
