CAIRO - An assistant to Egypt's Minister of Health has said that former President Hosni Mubarak, toppled in a popular revolt in February, is not suffering from any cancerous tumours. Mubarak, facing trial for fraud and killing protesters, is receiving medical treatment in Sharm el-Sheikh International Hospital. “Whatever has recently been said about the deterioration of Mubarak's health is rumours,” Doctor Adel el-Adawi told el-Youm el-Sabea online Saturday. He added that the ex-leader's health is stable, and that the minor medical problems he does have are merely associated with old age.
