CAIRO - A heat wave, which baked Cairo Friday, also hit large parts of Egypt, compelling many homeless children like this young boy to pour cold water over his head to avoid a sunstroke and dehydration. But the heat wave's peak had already passed, officials of the General Meteorological Authority said. He added that the temperature in the Egyptian capital would reach 35 degrees Celsius Saturday, nearly six degrees lower than Friday's temperature, which stood at 41 degrees Celsius. They said that today the weather should be normal for June.
