CAIRO - Egypt's central bank (CBE) said it sold LE5 billion ($841.84 million) in domestic treasurybills on Sunday, less than the LE5.5 billion it was seeking. The bank sold 2 billion pounds of 91-day T-bills at an average yield of 11.598 per cent, up a fraction from 11.561 per cent at last week's auction. The same amount it had asked for. The bank also sold 3 billion pounds of 266-day T-bills, at an average yield of 12.866 per cent, also up a fraction from 12.762 per cent at last issue on May 10. It had sought bills worth 3.5 billion pounds.
