The ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) on Tuesday said it would open an investigation into the killing of an oil engineer on a highway after rumours that he was shot dead by the Army, the official Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported. The killing of Rami Fakhri, a 27-year-old engineer, will be probed as the SCAF warns against rumour-mongerin g, MENA added. Fakhri, who works for a State-owned oil company, was shot dead last week while an Army patrol was tracing drug tracking down drug traders in the coastal city of Suez.
