CAIRO – Ex-Egypt's Interior Minister Habib el-Adli was detained on Monday 15 days pending investigations on charges of accumulating wealth illegally, Al-Youm el-Sabie reported Reports of the Public Fund Investigation Department showed that el-Adli had taken advantage of his position to amass ill-gotten fortune. He turned to possess a number of villas, flats and plots of land the value of which are far beyond his income. El-Adli has earlier this month been sentenced 12 years in a profiteering case.
