CAIRO – Egypt's Minister of Antiquities Zahi Hawass revealed on Tuesday that the Ministry is boosting security around monumental sites which are targeted by thieves during popular protests, the official Middle East News Agency reported. "The ministry would do its best to restore the gifted monumental items abroad to bring them back to Egypt," Hawass said, adding that Egypt is going to set up the "Egyptian Big Museum", which outperforms all museums in the world. Hawass said that we are protecting our monuments and securing them everywhere . "People feel safety, and some of stability and the ministry is preparing to set up a police for antiquities," he added.
