CAIRO - Russia's biggest charter airline Orenair has resumed its flights to Egypt. Orenair, which own 12 Boeing 737/800 planes, stopped flights after the eruption of the January 25 revolution that toppled former president Hosni Mubarak. Russia warned against flying to Egypt due to political unrest. Alex Andreyev, Orenair's deputy manager, said the resumption of flights to Egypt was a result of high demand from Russian holidaymakers, who prefer Egyptian touristic destinations. Orenair flies 25 charter flights to the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada, Andreyev added.
