CAIRO - Egypt will offer an international tender for its first nuclear power plant by the end of the year, Minister of Electricity Hassan Younes has said. The official Middle East News Agency (MENA) quoted Younes, who was in Russia last week for co-operation talks, as saying that Egypt's nuclear project is transparent and all data are disclosed. Sergei Kiriyenko, the head of Russia's State Atomic Energy Corporation (Rosatom) said his agency would bid for the tender.
