CAIRO - A surprise inspection in the "nothing to declare" customs lane of the Cairo International Airport turned up 46 kilogrammes of ivory-made bracelets, necklaces and other ornaments, police sources said Saturday. The ivory products were seized from the luggage of an Egyptian passenger, who flew from Sudan to Cairo on Friday, they said, adding that the anti-smuggling officers were investigating the case against the passenger, whom they only identified as M.W.
