Security measures beefed up in Giza Plateau ahead of Melania Trump's tour

CAIRO, Oct 6, 2018 (MENA) – Security measures have been beefed up on Saturday in the vicinity of Giza Plateau ahead of US first lady Melania Trump's tour of the archaeological landmark that houses the famed pyramids and the Sphinx.
Egyptian and US flags could be seen decorating the roads to the area to greet Melania on her first visit to Egypt.
Mrs. Trump's trip to Egypt falls within her four-nation African tour which has already taken her to Ghana, Malawi and Kenya.
