Tatand archaeological mosque reopened after renovation

SIWA, Egypt, Oct 5, 2018 (MENA) – Egyptian Antiquities Minister Khaled el Anani, Tourism Minister Rania el Mashat and Matrouh Governor Magdy el Gharabli inaugurated on Friday Tatand archaeological mosque in the Siwa Oasis after being renovated.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by 15 European Union ambassadors to Egypt.
Supervisor of the renovation project Emad Farid said the restoration of Tatand mosque started in January 2017 and lasted till June 2018.
Financial allocations have been provided by the British Council in Cairo to renovate the 100-square-meter mosque, he added.
