KUWAIT CITY, Sept 29, 2018 (MENA) - Thanks to a 1-1 away draw with Qadsia of Kuwait, Zamalek qualified for the round of 16 of the Arab club champions cup (Zayed Champions Cup) Friday night. The White Knights failed to translate their several attacks into goals throughout the whole first half and almost the second. Yet, in minute 82, substitute Kabongo Kasongo managed to score for Zamalek. A later equalizer by Qadsia in the extra time was valueless as Zamalek exploited from the away goal rule to secure a seat in the next round. Zmalek became the fourth Egyptian side to advance to the Arab Club tourney next round alongside Al- Ahly, Ismaily and Ittihad of Alexandria.
