CAIRO, Sept 25, 2018 (MENA) - Egyptian Higher Education Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar held on Tuesday a meeting with the director of human resource development at the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The meeting tackled means of cooperation between the ministry and JICA in the educational, research, technological and training fields. It also probed a number of joint projects in the field of higher education, including the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST). Abdel Ghaffar praised fruitful cooperation between the two sides, which reflects historic relations between Egypt and Japan. He also called for reinforcing cooperation between the Egyptian and Japanese universities, adding that the Egyptian state is keen on improving the quality of higher education. The Japanese official, meanwhile, reviewed ongoing construction works at the E.JUST university.
