CAIRO, September 21, 2018 - Al Ahly of Egypt is planning to win the second leg of CAF Champions League against Guinea's Horoya. They drew 0-0 in the first meeting in Conakry and the Egyptian giant's targets a win on Saturday in order to book a semis slot. Coach Patrice Carteron will miss defender Mohamed Naguib and midfielder Amr Elsoleya for the clash in Cairo. "We forgot everything regarding the first leg. The return leg is totally different, and now we have to win and qualify to the semis. We played the first leg in difficult circumstances and the barren draw is acceptable, though we planned to win there," Carteron told CAFOnline. "We will do our best to find the suitable replacements for the absentees, and I'm positive anyone who plays will give his best for the team. All we need is to focus on the game and not to underestimate our opponents (Horoya) who are a very good team. They are a young side and I believe they will have their word in the future", added Carteron. The Egyptian lost in the finals last year and Carteron has won the title previously with TP Mazembe of DR Congo to the title three years ago. Carteron announced the 20-man squad to face Guinean side. The squad saw the exclusion of Mido Gaber, Saad Samir, Amr Solaya, Marwan Mohsen and Mohamed Naguib due to injury. Full Squad: Goalkeepers: Sherif Ekramy, Mohamed El-Shennawy, Ali Lotfy.
