CAIRO, Sept 15, 2018 (MENA) - Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received his Greek and Cypriot counterparts Nikos Kotzias and Nicos Christodoulides, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid. The meeting comes within the ministers' keenness on consulting and coordinating to foster relations that have become a key and firm strategic basis in the region, Abu Zeid said Friday. The meeting also tackled preparations to hold the next trilateral summit slated to be held in Crete in Greece later in 2018. They discussed the latest developments concerning joint projects including an electricity grid that will link Africa and Europe through the three countries as well as projects in the fields of energy, agriculture, fishery, industry and information technology. The top diplomats also discussed the latest regional developments in southern and eastern Mediterranean region.
