CAIRO, Sept 7, 2018 (MENA) – Egypt's Health Minister Hala Zayed discussed with the Nigerian Ambassador in Cairo Abdulqader Dandati means of fostering bilateral relations in health field, Health Ministry spokesman Khaled Megahed said. During the meeting Thursday, the ambassador asserted his country's keenness to cooperate with Egypt in the manufacturing of vaccines and biopharmaceuticals especially that Egypt has more than 100 years of experience in the field. The minister welcomed the ambassador's proposal to sign a cooperation protocol to provide medical services for Nigerians with special prices in the hospitals affiliated to the health ministry, especially Nasser Institute Hospital for Research and Treatment. The minister also invited her Nigerian counterpart to visit the Holding Company For Biological Products and Vaccines (Vacsera) headquarters and a number of hospitals including Nasser Institute and Sharm el Sheikh International Hospital as part of efforts to enhance bilateral relations in health and medicine fields.
