PM, Eni CEO discuss future of oil discoveries

CAIRO, August 28, 2018 (MENA) - Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli had a meeting on Tuesday with CEO of Italy's Eni SpA Claudio Descalzi on the future of oil and gas discoveries in Egypt.
During the meeting, Madbouli expressed his appreciation for the existing cooperation with Eni company, citing Zohr offshore field, the company's largest gas discovery ever made in Egypt and the Mediterranean Sea.
For his part, Descalzi reviewed a report on the company's current activities and projects in Egypt.
The meeting also took up Eni's future plans to beef up investments in Egypt in the coming period, as well as the company's exploration and development activities in Sinai, the Gulf of Suez and the Western Desert.
