BEIJING, August 26, 2018 (MENA) - The trade exchange between Egypt and China surged 24% in the first seven months of 2018 compared to the same period in 2017, according to customs data. The volume hit $7.5 billion, according to the data of the Chinese customs department released on Sunday. China's exports to Egypt were estimated at $6.5 billion, up 22.6% year on year. Egypt's trade to the Asian giant jumped 34.1% to $1 billion. On a monthly basis, the trade exchange stood at $1.298 billion in July, according to the data.
