Sudan thanks Egypt for sending humanitarian aid convoy

KHARTOUM, August 17, 2018 (MENA) - The Sudanese government expressed thanks and appreciation to Egypt for its initiative to send a humanitarian aid convoy in the wake of the floods and heavy rains that hit several states in the country.
In statements to MENA late Thursday, undersecretary of the Sudanese Foreign Ministry Ambassador Abdel Ghani al Naeem said Khartoum highly appreciates President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives in this regard.
Naeem made the remarks as he received the aid convoy, stressing that the coming stage would witness more cooperation between the two countries.
