CAIRO, August 2, 2018 (MENA) -- The Minister of the Environment, Yasmin Fouad, yesterday discussed co-operation over the programmes and policies of the sustainable development and green economy, with a senior official from the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI). "Green development is one of the main goals of sustainable development and it works through conserving the environment in all the development sectors," Fouad said. The Minister added that the country must work on a new method of raising awareness of caring for the environment and changing wrong behaviour in dealing with it. She added that there was a need to involve young people in the environmental field, so as to achieve a tangible result. Based in Seoul, South Korea, the GGGI is aiming to strike a balance between green economy and economic growth.
