CAIRO, July 29 (MENA) - German University in Cairo (GUC) Board of Trustees Chairman Ashraf Mansour expressed content over President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's adoption of the visual identity project of Luxor governorate, asserting that GUC is fully ready to dedicate all its potentials to apply the project in all governorates. In a statement released by GUC on Sunday, Mansour voiced happiness over Sisi's directives to implement the GUC initiative to create a visual identity for Luxor governorate in cooperation with the Defence Ministry during the 6th National Youth Conference. The project of the visual identity of "Luxor" has been implemented over two years as part of cooperation protocols between GUC's board of trustees chaired by Ashraf Mansour and Luxor Governor Mohamed Badr. The project resulted in establishing projects in the fields of urban development, electronic applications, human resources development and training. GUC also offered scholarships for distinguished students in Luxor as part of its policy to support societal development along with grants to Thanawya Amma students. Mansour also greeted Minya Governor Essam Bedawi and Qena Governor Abdel Hamid El Haggan over their cooperation with the GUC to develop Upper Egypt.
