CAIRO, July 22 ,2018 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said Sunday the July 23rd Revolution changed the face of life in Egypt and launched a new march of national action. Sisi's statements came during a graduation ceremony of a new batch of military academies and technical institutes' cadets. Marking the 66th anniversary of the Revolution, the president said the revolution made fundamental changes in all domains, placing the country on the world political map and launching a new march of national action to meet the aspirations of the great Egyptian people. The effect of the revolution extended to other regions inspiring peoples that were striving for their freedoms, the president said. "On this day, we remember with all gratitude the names of men who shouldered the responsibility of the homeland, namely Gamal Abdel Nasser, the leader of the revolution, Anwar Sadat who sacrificed his own life to protect the nation's dignity and sovereignty and late president Mohamed Nabuib who responded bravely to the national call at a very critical and decisive moment in history," he added.
