CAIRO, July 21, 2018 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's sponsorship of the Cairo Water Week conference reflects the political leadership's keenness on facing water challenges in Egypt, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mohamed Abdel-Ati said. These remarks were made on Saturday after the minister held a coordination meeting in preparation for the international conference, slated for October 14-18. The Cairo Water Week will be held for the first time in Egypt in cooperation with international partners, including the European Union, Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and a galaxy of experts and decision makers, he added The event will be attended by water experts from 53 countries and water ministers of Islamic countries, Abdel-Ati noted.
